Grolsch

In partnership with the South African Breweries, award-winning Dutch brewery, Grolsch launched their “Design a Swing-top” competition. Their multi-tiered competition appealed to design schools, artists and designers, and the public, requiring us to submit a design that would complement the iconic Grolsch swing-top bottle.

Delft, a prominent historical city in South Holland, is famous for its tin-glazed, blue and white pottery, so I decided to design a label that would echo this signature aesthetic and celebrate the brand’s heritage.
